"I thought you would be interested in hearing of my recent experience in purchasing a mattress. An experience I would describe as horrific until I went into your store in Orange.

My son is in the United States Navy and is stationed in San Diego. For the last three weekends we had been looking for a mattress set and because he is in the Navy his budget was very limited. He wanted to spend around $200.00. After looking at department stores, small furniture places and several mattress shops we responded to an ad in the newspaper. They advertised a Queen Set for $298.00. When we inquired about this close-out special here’s what we got from their grumpy old salesman. “Oh, you don’t want that, it’s very low quality.” We said that’s O.K.

Next it was, “Oh, you don’t want that, it’s not a matched set.” We said that’s O.K. Then it was, “By the time you pay the delivery charges, you can have this nice set here for $400.00” We said we didn’t need delivery as we had a truck there to take the mattress. At that point he said, “Well, we don’t have that mattress here. Our facility isn’t large enough to stock close-out specials.” He then walked away and sat down at his desk. It became pretty clear he just wasn’t going to sell us the advertised special.

We then found our way to your location. Expecting the worst again, we were helped by not one, but three very courteous sales people. We explained our limited budget and it was no problem with your company. We were shown several sets around our price range. It was pointed out to us that it wasn’t your best product but with proper care it should last many years. Actually, compared to some beds we looked at we thought the quality was very good for the price. With tax it came to $204.00 and they even offered to deliver it to San Diego. We opted to take it with us. They secured the set on the truck and we drove away thinking it was a shame we wasted all that time and wished we had come to you first.

I will tell you this. If I ever need a mattress set again, there is only one place I will shop. I plan to tell everyone I know about Custom Comfort Mattress."

"I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with your company's customer service. When I purchased my mattress set, I spoke to the salesman about the fact that, although I would need your pick-up service for my waterbed mattress, it would be at a much later date. He told me that it would be no problem at all. I was delighted to hear this, because I wasn't ready to begin my decorating project, which would begin by emptying a king-size waterbed.

Last week, I called and explained that I would be ready on Saturday. I was given a time span of between 9:00 and 10:00. Your workers arrived at precisely 9:00, but unfortunately, I had some delays early in the morning and the waterbed wasn't completely drained. I asked if there was any way they might have another delivery in the area and could come back. They were very cooperative and said they would make a delivery in Coto and be back in half an hour. I can't tell you how relieved I was that they were willing to do this. I had major plans to paint my bedroom and I would have had a very difficult time had the mattress not been taken away that morning. I think it needs to be noticed when employees are as pleasant and polite as these two gentlemen. I will continue to refer my friends to your company. Keep up the great job."
